Curious if anyone using the Tensa4 will be at the Bataan Memorial Death March this year and using it. This is my first time to the event so I’m in a hotel, but others on one of the group said the renting area is huge and plenty of space. Being in NM, there aren’t many trees but I can see this as a perfect opportunity for the Tensa4.

Huh, that's odd. Cheryl has always been amazingly fast at getting orders shipped out, and I had a tracking number within hours of ordering the extensions on Friday.

I suspect it's already been dropped with USPS and that the delay is coming from their side, not from Tensa Outdoor.

I would bet it is USPS also. I have noticed a lot of delayed updates and late deliveries from them over the last couple of months.

I'm excited to receive my tarp mod to!!

Absolutely no complaints about Cheryl or Todd. They are doing more than most would and I trust that they followed through with everything. In fact the first thing I saw after the order was confirmed was a partial refund on my order because of excess shipping charges. I didn't ask for it, they just did it.

Any delays I'm seeing are probably just updates not being posted by the USPS. I'm just being impatient for my new toys

+1 to all that! They rock.

And they issued a partial shipping refund to me as well.

And the issue is probably lack of updates from USPS.

And you're being impatient for your new toys!

The USPS finally decided to update the shipment details. The package will be here Thursday. It looks like a nice weekend, I may even be able to set it up outside.

Mulling options. Can't wait to get this gear!

If I have a Tensa4 and two TensaSolos (TensaSoli?), can I connect two TensaSolo pole extensions on each end of the Tensa4 to function as tarp extensions?

The tarp won't be strictly parallel to the hammock, but will it be close enough?

Might interior pole mods create enough space to offset the not-quite-parallel tarp if using a GE hammock?

We tried and were not impressed with this approach. Doesn’t give nearly the extra height desirable, and the unextended pole tends to poke tarp with anything but the shallowest of tarp pitches.
