Nice! I'll be committing the cardinal sin of doing my first setup in the field tomorrow. Actually will be the first time setting up the latest revision of the Tensa with keyed tubing, toggles and webbing in addition to the tarp poles. I'm so impressed with how this product has progressed since version 1.

    Now I just need a 13' tarp...

That keyed tubing is brilliant. So easy to extend/compact the tubes.

I don't think you will have any issues with your initial setup in the field. The tarp extensions may seem a little ungainly at first, but they really are so simple, it's easy to overthink them. Once they are setup and adjusted for your tarp (5 min maybe?), you are set.

I haven't had a chance yet to set up my stand with the tarp poles. Does the tarp ridgeline just get anchored to the orange screws?

No, the tarp extensions are stout enough to be cantilevered outward without any external ridgeline guys necessary. Just guy both ends of the stand and it piggy-backs on that structure.

I concur. If you look at my pictures a few posts up, I have my tarp ridgeline anchored, but it was only to keep it from getting in the way. The tarp extensions on the stand do all the work.

Out of curiousity, are the new ball toggles (holding the poles together) for sale individually? I'd love to buy a set.
