    I got shafted!

I have been a traditional archery for over thirty years. During that time I have accumulated quite a few different sizes of arrow shafts that generally take up space.

Earlier this week I used some old carbon fiber shafts in two different sizes, a little epoxy and voila, super light weight tarp poles.

These poles are 57 inches long, 13 inches folded and weight 1.8 ozs each.

is that one arrow that is that long? What brands do you recommend? What is the search term to use to locate a folding arrow? Breakable?foldable?

Great Idea! Same here, shooting traditional has led me to a bucket full of mixed shafts. I think I smell a winter project!

    Folding arrows?

Two different size shafts. One fits inside of the other. Cut into little pieces for joints

Curious how long you cut for joints..? I'm looking at 6", but would love to hear from your learning curve...
