Relieving yourself while hammock bound (Male oriented!)

A while back, someone started a thread on using PVC tubing to relief themselves while in the hammock. Seemed a little awkward to carry to my way of thinking. But man's is always trying to improve things....

At least it's easier to carry!

Seriously? If you are too lazy to climb out of a hammock to use the bathroom then you should loose your hammock license.

That kind of attitude is exactly why in some countries people are still pissing in the dark getting their feet all wet!...jkjk

Ha. I actually managed to successfully go out the side once. Only reason I did was because every time I tried to move to get up, I began cramping bad.

I stay close by or under my tarp if its cold so I can quickly get back to my warm quilts, but I don't like to risk containment failure and/or lower re-sale value of my gear

It’s threads like this that I have to remind myself I’m not in one of my Army forums and need to suppress my sarcasm and just shut up.

I thought that was what the hole in the bottom of a Hennessey was for.

Hmm, I don't quite understand. This only works when you're standing up, right? Just putting one foot out of the hammock and peeing doesn't work, I guess.

For my part, I like to get up at night, watch the forest while I relieve myself and then crawl back into the warm hammock. Some exercise in the middle of the night and feeling the cold air don't bother me, on the contrary.
