Failures are rarely reported on here so either hammock last or people do not report the failures. Get you a good hammock this time and this shouldn't happen if hung correctly.

There's nothing inherently inferior about an ENO. Any hammock will fail if the fabric has been compromised.

Never drink and hang.
Long term wear and tear. Exposure to sun and rain. A zipper or rivet on your pants. The hammock is just a piece of fabric, it will wear out eventually.
