Anyone got their ridge reaper’s yet?

Interested in your thoughts and pics. Especially if you have previous experience with the warbonnet lynx. Interested in how they compare in terms of fit. ( specifically tightness and conformity to the bottom of the ridge runner). Not worried about warmth. George’s quilts are always generously stuffed and with the Chevron baffling I know that down stays put!
I have a 20° three season lynx currently, but to be honest, it makes me a little sad every time I have to leave my matching GE reapers/ghost peppers in favor of the bland lynx! (I know first-world problems to the max) Anyway, there might be a couple of these in my future just interested in some feedback first!!

They're starting to get out into the marketplace now. It is shaped to be an exact fit to the RR. I'm sure there will be some reviews soon

I can’t wait. Any close-ups of the tensioning adjusters George?

Looking forward to getting under my new 0° Reaper when it arrives. Like you, I was appreciative of the color selections and thank my lucky stars I didn't order the bland Lynx when I bought the Ridge Runner a few months back as I had planned.

I have a 20* Ridge Reaper on order. Judging from the lead time when I ordered it will probably be delivered late January/early February. I'll also (hopefully) be taking it into the field in late February. I'll be sure to take photos and do a review once it's in hand.

Waiting for mine as well. Love my Ghost Pepper, so had to go this route. I like my Wooki for my BB, but feel like maybe it could have more insulation. Look forward to seeing how this quilt is. Probably be mid to late January when I get it.

Mine has arrived... I've been able to use it down to about 25F with wind and snow.

Awesome! Just awesome. First of all, I appreciated the call from George to confirm a few details. Just a quick call to make sure things would be perfect. On first inspection: the colors are vibrant. I guess the colors are pretty standard across manufacturers so maybe it's just that I picked a great color combo. I pulled the UQ out of the package and was immediately impressed with the loft. I can't find anything to complain about with the build. The chevron baffles are a work of art. The biners are nice and he's got red to mark the head (so it's matchy matchy for the rest of my gear).

I ordered the 0F Ridge Reaper - Fill: 800 fill power Downtek Duck Down, Outer Color: Charcoal Gray Argon 90, Inner Color: Burnt Orange Argon 67 Taffeta

I clipped the PERFECTLY fitting quilt to my RR and lay down to test it. It's the kind of quilt that takes no time for the quilt to radiate heat back. Just amazing. I got to take it camping for a field test. It did NOT disappoint. This UQ is officially one of my favorite pieces of gear.

I'll follow up with pictures in the next day or so.

Order with the confidence, you won't be disappointed.

    THANKS GEORGE!

I'm looking forward trying mine out. I should have it in time to show off to several hundred hammockers down at HangCon 18'! 70's during the day and 50's at night should be perfect.

Hi Folks, Just a note to say I got my RR 20 degree the other day and set it up in the basement (54 degrees) and slept in it last night, quite comfy in the sense that a 20 degree quilt didn't overheat me at 54 degrees. Looking forward to an extended forecast where a 25-30 degree night is called for. The fit is very precise with no gaps & the chevron stitching is a clever idea .
