New here and just dosking in as much knowledge as I can from the veteran hammock campers...do any of the hammock companies do after Christmas sales?

Welcome! To answer your question; Not that I recall. Most offer their specials on Black Friday or a last minute pre Christmas sale.

If your looking for something particular on a budget you could always check the "For sale" section or post a thread in the "Wanted" section for some good used stuff.

Last year Hammock gear had a sale on "in stock" items in january, thats how i was able to score a deal on my incubator

Your next best bet will be Spring sales March-April time frame. As always though no guarantee.

Jacks R Better has a storewide sale that goes from next week thru the end of the year.

Oh, and there is always plenty of inventory at JRB, though you may find one or two items in short supply or sold out due to high demand.

Shugemery has done some outstanding video's on JRB quilts. Check his vids on YouTube.

Also, go to some group hangs in your area. It's possible to score some great slightly used items from others that have upgraded for whatever reason. If you have the availability, come down to sunny and warm Florida in January for HangCon 2018. *bonus* There is always someone there "trading" gear.
