Do you have the original 3D printed version? It would be rougher than the one I posted.

That was a prototype and did not have the space for the cord lock.

Yep, that’s the prototype. No cordlock hole.

Can you link me to the magnetic attachment you have pictured?

I also have a CD Slot Mount for holding my phone in the car. I’m thinking a couple of the would work for the HTH and that.

    Thanks!

    Hello SoaknWet.

You have the beta 3D printed version. Purchasing one of those financed tooling and patent pending process. I have since had a run injection molded and hope to soon commission another run. Flash Gunderlore suggested an integrated attachment in the HTH to accommodate a cord lock. Some raise their foot end higher than their head end and the HTH can walk down the ridgeline. Besides larkshead knotting a hair tie or shock cord wedges and shelves were thought of to jam it in place, but under tension from a loaded ridgeline would stress and fail. The recess was easily integrated and offers push button positioning.

That, nor the hair tie add to stability. When Shock cord is run through the lower void and clipped to the edges of the hammock and tensioned that fixes the media device at 3 points and swings with you. Something I'm working on is a koozie with a snapped on bail handle with a button on top that may toggle into the keyhole slot in the side of the HTH. This would be a closed beverage container and would act as ballast and stabilize fixed in lateral position.

Where the older 3D printed version lacks the cord lock recess, fixing it in position is accomplished by larkshead knotting a hair tie to the ridgeline and looping it over a tie down hook along the periphery of the HTH. I'm hoping to be able to offer an upgrade program for early adopters to get a discount on the current version within the next couple of production runs.

    This is another cool mount:

If you use it with dual lock, (https://www.uline.com/BL_6418/3M-Dua...?pricode=WF356) you can attach many different items with one interface. Perhaps one could mount something like:

Unfortunately, these don’t fit. The ball on the HTH is slightly to big. It causes the socket to bulge outward and doesn’t allow the ring to screw on evenly. It was the same on my CD Slot Mount. So, the ball size is slightly smaller on these units.
