    My goodness, is this forum starting to slip into the abyss, or what??? Where is Jellyfish, Kitsap, or Doc patiently explaining the formula for the partial pressure of a gas at a certain temperature is simply a function of ---> insert formula with example calculation here.

    Yup. Just like if you ever used a pack raft. You can blow it up until it feels like it's going to pop. After you get into to cool water, it feels like you're going to sink it! So you "temper" it by adding more air to occupy that colder space while sitting in the water. Then, don't leave it in the sun out of water or it may actually pop.
