Hello from a wet and soggy UK

Greetings all and hello from Kent in the UK.

I have been hanging for 12months since a soggy experience with an ultralight tent one weekend.
I promised myself never to sleep on the floor ever again.

I have an Amok Draumr 3.0 with Synmat 9 but struggle to stay dry with the standard tarp.

Recently acquired a WBBB XLC in Multicam with winter top and awaits the delivery of my Bushwack Thunderfly (which is due to arrive today direct from WB) hoping this combo will work over here better than the Amok. I am currently using the Synmat inside the WBBB partially inflated along with my EE REVELATION 20F.

    Steve

Hello and welcome from Marietta GA. My guess is that it will be easier to cover your WBBB than the Amok. Happy hanging!

I always thought a good tarp solution was the Achilles heel of those Amoks (that and the weight)
I like be able to batten down the hatches down here in the mild mild west (we get wind here too!!).
Stayed dry so far... See you around.
