Great video. I and some friends were at that same camp site on Slickrock fishing about 10-12 years ago in November and had a dog come in the middle of the night and started howling next to the tent.... to say the least the hair on my neck stood up until we figured out it was a hunting dog. Later that night I got up to go to the bathroom and in the moonlight I see what looks like two skunks humping next to my foot and thought,Krap, I’m going to get sprayed!!! Luckily it was the dog. He followed us out and we reunited him with the owner too. The Big Fat Gap trail was brutal!!!
Man...can't find that Ribz front pack anywhere except for a few small sizes. Even Ribz's online store is empty. I wonder if they closed up shop?

Nice video, thank you for sharing! I’ve been debating on getting a Spindrift. Would you say it was a good purchase?

I would probably crap in my hammock if that happened to me.
Their sizing is a bit hard to figure. I’ve got two of sizes, the size determines the volume of the pack. You’ll have to search around a bit.
Only used it that one time. Never got that cold to test it, but it’s pretty easy to get in and out of hammock with it on. But it’s different from a gathered end hammock winter sock in that it would be much more difficult to put on in the field(woods).

That's another good one, bammacker. Thanks for the videos. I gotta appreciate a man that looks after other people's animals. Good stuff.

Good job on the video Kirk, you always do a great job! I remember once we did a day hike to the hangover and got caught in a thunderstorm while on our way down, the rain felt like ice water and we were so cold. That is a great area to explore.
Very nice, great video.

Awesome! I'm moving to NC in May and I'm collecting a list of hikes to do around the state. I'll add this one to the list. Thanks for sharing.
