    My new thing maker

I made a table for my sewing machine. It helps so much for sewing long straight seams. It also helps with smaller parts. I'm on my third tarp and this one is the first with the table. So much better. The light is home made with12 volt led strips.

I like! I have a choice between setting mine on a very large sturdy table to wrestle with big slippery fabric, or a small sewing table that raises/lowers to use the free arm. Either way I need a head-lamp to get enough light close in where it's needed. You've made a good thing for your Thing Maker. I hope you'll make many good things with it!

I was doing the same thing with the headlamp. That's where I got the idea. I had the lights so I didn't have to buy anything. I looked at retail tables and made this one for 18$ much more economical. Working with grey or black silnylon or silpoly gets hard to see the edges to match them up. Need LOTS of light.

    Nice job

You will enjoy the larger table, and better light
