That's definitely an option, and I will try it. My system has been constantly evolving. I used to be a "no stuff sacks" or at least minimal stuff sacks kind of backpacker. Lately tho, I've been trying to more finely tune my system in terms of streamlining the setup/takedown process. I've found that for GE hammocks, a double ended stuffsack really smooths the setup process out, and will probably make a LST so that I can pack my GE hammock and UQ together. Since the RR is brand new to us, I'm trying to streamline that setup process as well and feel like having a LST for it would be the most efficient way to go, along with a different suspension (it has the stock WB buckle suspension, and I'm not a fan lol).
The stuffsacks I've been making are really lightweight so IMO a couple of ounces in stuffsacks are worth the weight penalty when it comes to streamlining the setup process.
