Family Day is definitely on Monday February 19 for Ontario. I'll get both dates into my calendar for January 12 - 14, and February 2 - 4. Then I'm clear with my family. I can't wait!

...or Alberta or Saskatchewan. I have no idea where the dates fall for other provinces. Is your phone set for 2017?

It thinks you're in BC. Watch those roaming charges.

For the February hang to Silent Lake: Pulk Sled and snowshoes advisable, required or just nice to have?

Dang. Sorry Bonnet. Hopefully you can make it out this winter, but either way, keep your eye on the Spring.

If I recall, there was about a 15-25 minute walk from the car park to the lake. Snowshoes might be helpful, depending on the conditions and while a pulk is great, a simple 5' old fashioned toboggan works fine depending on the load. I think it might be helpful if everyone had enough space on a toboggan for half a dozen pieces of firewood. Last time we were there, the Park Ranger kindly delivered about one sh*tload of firewood, but we shouldn't count on it.

That being said, I haven't heard any other locations put forward.

Why would you take this away from me? You're supposed to tell me that a Pulk is necessary so that my wife won't question my next project! Bad form Chard!
