Let me review my copy I marked up. Most of the edits I made were minor, and didn't affect any data, things like an extra space before a period or in the appendix I switched styles and put periods after "lbs" and "m" for example. But, I'll go back and look and post anything major that I find.

I just received my copy yesterday afternoon. The original UH was the perfect handy guide to all the basics, tips, and tricks of hammock camping. Derek has now authored the updated and illustrated definitive treatise on the subject with UH2. Very, very well done.

The only drawback to the new edition is that it's so much expanded and chock full of helpful new information that the book is too BIG for a peak shelf!

I just found out about another book that is very comparable to TUH.

Hammock Camping by Ed Speer

It seems to be in limited supply. The only place I found it was on Amazon as a used item in low quantities.

If you like TUH1/2, I think you should know about this book as well. It was written in 2003, I believe. Which is kinda neat to step back in time and see the state of the hammock camping industry and community at the time, if you’re a newcomer, like me. It is chock-full of info just like TUH. So if you want a great companion book, this is it!
