Edited out incorrect info. I searched for and found the title of Ultimate Hang 2 on my kindle after reading this thread. I had previously purchased the e version on iTunes.
Asking the kindle to download, I thought it was working, it did not. The kindle Ultimate Hang 2 page states “This book can be downloaded and read in iBooks on your Mac or iOS device.”
Guess it should not be a surprise.

Thought about the kindle version (I’ve got the paperwhite)- but for a book like this, I want the physical book for the pictures and color. I want to take full advantage of Derek’s amazing illustrations and charts.
Come on Derek— let’s get this book back on Amazon’s shelves!

A quick update: I was able to find the book by searching "the ultimate hang second edition" on Amazon. Now I have it on my Kindle but it looks like paperback copies are also available for purchase.

Even for them of us who is not an english native speaker the book is easy to read. I also appreciate the measurements also given in metric units. Thank you, Derek!
And now I'll continue reading the book.

Thanks all. The paperback is temporarily unavailable because I made those edits that the OP mentioned. All new purchases will be the updated version. It takes about 24-hours to reflect the change so Amazon disables any purchasing during that time. It should be up later today or Monday at the latest (I hope!). I figured the weekend was a good time to do the update to (hopefully) minimize any downtime for folks. Sorry for the delay! I just want to make sure the book is as accurate as possible without going crazy.
I've also noticed that the listing on Amazon is strange. I've had a few phone calls with them but I'm not sure the best way to fix it. You can find the second edition in either format (Kindle or paperback) but clicking on the "Other formats and editions" link near the title and find the 2017 edition.

@Slack Packhiker - I'm interested to know what is happening with your book. Did you buy the Kindle version or the iBooks version? Let me know if there is an issue I need to fix there.
The iBooks version has preserved the entire layout of the paperback, but the Kindle couldn't handle the fixed format, so I had to create a new design that was reflowable text. It's got all the illustrations except for a few that didn't make much sense in that format. The images are MUCH larger than v1 so you can zoom in easier and see details. Still, the format is as Kindle as it can be, which for me isn't as cool as the print version, but it's nice and convenient.
