Love this piece of gear, in particular the visibility thanks to the edge cut, but I'm moving on to a bridge hammock. I've learned I am primarily a side sleeper and can't get a full nights sleep in a gathered end hammock.
Below are the details from the original purchase.
Black Warrior ‘Edge’ Hammock- w/ Integrated Bugnet Right Lay
18oz in stuff sack (NB: 19 oz on my scale, including the gear loft)
"The Warrior Edge features a Unique new design in Hammock Shaping. The cut helps to eliminate some of the floppy edges of the wider fabrics. The Edge cut does away with excessive claustrophobic flapping fabric. (This cut is truely unique to the Edge Hammock)"
Features:
• Black Epsilon 1.55oz/yard fabric body with Crimson Red Peak Triangles and Accents.
• 11 foot x 62″ wide (edge cut)
• Integrated Bug-net using NanoSeeUm Bug netting (can be unzipped and stored at foot end with the shock cord catch. It is not totally removable)
• 4 Zipper Sliders allows openings to be placed anywhere along the zipper.
• Head and foot end continuous loops are color coordinated (red for head end, black for foot)
• Quilt Clip Points for UnderQuilts
• Two Tie outs that are optional for spreading open the hammock (comes with shock corded tie out line)
• Red Dyneema Ridgeline w/ head end pillow loop (clip point)
• Black Silnylon Double Ended Stuff Sack
• Ridgeline organizer for storing small gear.
• Weight limit 275lb
Included is an Elemental Hammock Gear Loft ($20):
http://www.elementalhammock.com/gear-loft. The hammock has continuous loops for your preferred suspension system.
There are two holes in the mesh, see in pics. One is covered by tenacious tape, the other is very small, near the ridgeline on the head end, and just happened 2 nights ago.
Non-smoking owner and household, if that matters to you.
