My wife and I got the DN OneLink systems as our first hammocks. We still use the DN and Atlas straps on day hikes because they are so easy.
I remember our first backpacking trip... the OneLink systems, DIY PLUQs, HEAVY synthetic bags. It was what we had and we made it work.
Haven't had the ENO tarps out in forever, but holding on to them to use as loaners, hopefully soon when my son and fiancee join us out on the trail.
It's solid kit, IMO. I wouldn't necessarily steer someone that way, but if that's the way they went more power to them.
Agreed. I like to keep my ENO stuff around for when I invite others on camping trips. My oldest hammock is an ENO singlenest, and it's still holding up great. I've had no quality issues, and it's pretty comfortable for me, to be honest. Now, I don't imagine I'll ever choose it over my Chameleon, but...
