Part 2 Black Mtn to Brady Mtn

    Part 2 of 2
Lots of strong wind and we ride out the storm going to ground unfortunately. The ground makes you appreciate the hammock!

Thanks for all the great comments y’all have been giving! That’s the only reason i do these...i certainly dont make any money on them. I’m slowly coming into my own style and getting more comfortable on video. I think there is a part of all of us that hates being filmed!

Enjoy your videos! I have done several hikes based on some of your earlier videos of the CT - good research material! The CT is truly an undiscovered gem right now. I will admit that I had already done Black Mtn - I had a golf outing at Fairfield Glades one Saturday - went up early and setup at Black Mountain. I like the fact that you DRIVE up to the top! Not much of a campsite but the rocks and the view are nice.
Let me know if you need company on any of your future trips! I live up in Hendersonville and me and a buddy or two try to get out for weekenders when we can. We recently went up to Cataloochee valley for 2 nights and saw the Elk. Stayed at #40 (not too good) and #41 (good).
    Keep up the good work.

Part 2 Black Mtn to Brady Mtn

@ccartertn Oops just saw this. Thanks for the compliment! I know we have talked before about some of the trails. Yes that's an amazing area. I would like to live over there when I'm older and that trail is complete and very poplar and be able to help folks get through it. Maybe a hostel?

Part 2 Black Mtn to Brady Mtn

@TrailSlug Yes sleeping on the ground is not as good as being suspended. But I screwed myself by not paying attention.
Actually with all the leaves I put under it and the Exped, it wasn't bad at all.
I have a bushcrafting trip coming up and anotherr CT trip planned.
I am also considering a longer through hike of the CT segment that's about 60 miles long. I haven't looked at the details yet. But it is ridgeline hiking sort of like this was.
Thanks TrailSlug for watching and commenting.
Hope everything is spelled right...im on my phone without my reading glasses and can barely see.

Its outside Crossville, TN about 20 minutes east. The section is called Black Mountain and the other section is called Brady.
