Milwaukee Dan brings up a good point. If you're using the Registers baggage support it might prove to be a little more difficult. They generally drop the bags in an open field suitable for tent set up. You would have to haul your duffle bag to the nearest tree line. (I ride self contained on a bagger bike giving me the luxury of pulling in whenever I see a good spot)

I'm going to be riding with a local Iowa team that sends out advanced scouts to line up peoples yards to set up in once the route is announced. Our load master/ driver did have a hammock and he slept in in the back of the truck all week. The last time I rode ragbrai was in 2008 and I'll be going back to do it again this year with my hammock. I really don't anticipate too much of a problem finding a place to hang it up.

Trees will be at a premium. Everybody will want to use them for shade. You may want to consider a couple of Tensa Solos or a Tensa 4 stand.

If you're creative you can find a place to hang a hammock. When I did it in 2017 I spent more time in a tent than a hammock. I was glad I bought both.
