Anyone use a Quilt Catch-All Sack (Hammock, UQ, UQP, Suspension)?

Saw this large double ended stuff sack over @ Simply Light Designs.

Anyone use one large stuff sack for quick deployment?

I've been thinking about getting that for a little bit now. It would be so convenient on hiking trips

I've been considering buying or making something along those lines as well.

I generally store hammock and quilts by stuffing each separately into a contractor's grade (thick) garbage bag, in the bottom of my pack. I have occasionally tried stuffing hammock+attached quilts as one unit, but stopped doing that because the UQ's suspension lines often got rather badly tangled up with each other, the hammock, and the hammock ridgeline. I don't particularly enjoy untangling stuff. I wonder if this stuff sack would solve that problem.

I use a Lazy Slug Tube, which is this in two pieces, like tarp skins. It works great.

I use a homemade one. I recently tried to upgrade a zpacks medium plus stuff sack to a bishop bag big enough for my summer quilts - it works, but the tension makes a hard football rather than a stuffable loose fit. The large stuff sack is the wrong shape - I love the ease of camp tear down.

I've got a Lazy Slug Tube as well. While it is fast, I do not believe that it compresses as small as separate components, whether in separate stuff sacks or one big one. Somehow, the tying of all the pieces together increases their relative bulk, or perhaps, decreases their relative compressibility. I still hang my tarp by itself, since you can't get any easier to deploy than snake skins and a Black Bishop bag or dbl ended stuff sack. I also carry my suspension in its own sack, since it doesn't compress much at all.

For me, the Slug Tube works great when space isn't a concern, such as car camping. For backpacking/hiking, I still prefer suspension, hammock and quilts stuffed separately. I pick up deployment speed & ease with Dutch-ware bling. Works for me, YMMV, HYOH.
    Thanks,

This is the Lazy Slug Tube on my Gheenoe. The boat is always wet inside so it offers some protection during setup and takedown. Just stuff in a roll top dry bag each day. Superfly in Snakeskin.

Wow, that's amazing ! I want the same thing !!
What do you do with this boat ? Fishing ?

Sea to Summit compression bags work great, especially to pack quilts & hammock in a sock (perfect for the spindrift in particular) : http://www.seatosummitusa.com/stuff-compression-sacks/. Take size L for summer quilts ; XL for winter gear.
