Adding the hammock to the bottom of the bag with the quilts seems like a better use of space.

I was putting both quilts into a single rectangular stuff sack then stacking the XLC stuff sack on later.

The last pic shows my thumb through the mesh. This is where it comes to ......uncompressed in the Ohm.

I’m interested in SLD’s catch all sake though, although I think I would go with the silnylon to keep any debris off the quilts.
I left the UQP on because of that reason. I went back & forth before I ordered on which one to get.

Yep...however you get there I like it.

I left mine in the bag all day.

i am a little tired...and I turned the lights out on the deck, put my head lamp on and in a minute or two the hammock was ready for sleep.

    IMG_3134.JPGIMG_3133.jpg

I fooled around with my pack cover a bit then put my pack underneath me.

Lazy Tube, Slug Tub, Catch-all, or using the hammock itself.....i like it.

I use some version of an all-in-one deployment most trips. If I am using a top load pack I just stuff it in the pack liner and deploy from the pack.

This gave me flashbacks to a few years ago ........

i leave the UQ, pillow, and hammock all setup with SRL and stuffs in the stuff sack for the UQ and if i take the stuffsack end off the suspension and keep the hammock taut as i walk the bag back and stuff it full i don't run into any issues with the SRL or suspension for the UQ getting tangled or anything. i like it. far easier than breaking everything down before stuffing it and then trying to get individual stuffsacks into the pack...far easier to just get the one filled and it slid into the pack.

    3rd night with the Catch-all.
I can't believe I haven't been doing this all along.
So quick to deploy which is a plus when its below freezing with the wind chill.

4th night with the Catch-all and I am officially sold on this concept.

I was leaving my hammock deployed 24/7 but now that has all changed.

I take it inside every morning and redeploy every night.

I keep the Catch-all in my gear closet until about 10:30PM.

It takes about a minute to have the hammock ready for sleep.

Now you致e done it. Looks like I知 ordering one tonight......

I was considering the sil, but now I知 thinking it will be harder to get all the air out, so I知 going with the mesh.

You got the standard, right? What are the temperature ratings for your quilts? I知 thinking of getting the winter size so my 0 UQ and 20 TQ will fit easier.

    • Standard - 13.5" x 96"
    • Mesh - Standard (2.25 oz)

    Here is what is inside:

    • XLC SL 1.7
    • Greylock 3(+1 oz) 25ー-30ー
    • Hudson River (+1 oz.) 25ー-30ー
    • 2QZQ UQP
    • Triangle Thingies

You might ask Jared to make it 18-24" longer.

I don't mind that it only covers the 80%...if I had to do it over I am not sure if I would add material or not...working just fine like it is.
