Oooo... I just got the tool and snaps for making a Gemini UQ ---- the KAM snaps on the snakeskins in the middle is a great idea... Might have to try that one.

Ok here it comes! You guys started this! I too received my KAM snaps and tool today. I have both my ENO Housefly and my WB Superfly laying in front of me. Then that little light bulb came on! Why me? What about a couple of snaps on the edges of my BBXLC and Wookie to keep the edges together? I've accidentally set between the two a couple of times.

Instead of line licks, I simply tied the end into a prussik, works very well and no hardware.

Sorry just switched over, haven't even thought of taking pictures yet but I will when I get a chance.

Be careful licking those lines, some of the coating they use tastes really bad ;<)
By all means, let's argue about whether or not a hammock will hurt a tree. All the while ignoring the fact that there is an island of garbage the size of Texas floating in the Pacific ocean. Or how about the fact that over 75% of the world's nuclear reactors are leaking...

Door Closing Options on a Superfly.

Here are a few pics. I made a video, something I’ve never done, and I’m going to try and edit it down before posting. If I can figure out how to post!

TxAggie, Where’s the Tarp? Horrible picture... all I can see are leaves! Love Camo. My Palace is the same color and I love it!

Lol, yeah I realized that after I posted the pics. I didn’t notice how well the pattern actually blended before that.

Sorry it took so long but I finally got a chance to get some pictures. I started out originally using those little micro side release buckles, those did work pretty good but sometimes they are a real PITA to buckle and unbuckle, especially in the middle of the night when you're in a hurry. so I switched where they connect to the door over to the line lock hooks, makes for very easy hooking and unhooking and adjusting tension too. I left the ends that attach to the corner of the tarp side release buckles to make them easier to hook together with the doors open.

Sorry the pictures are all skewed,if anybody can tell me how to fix that I would appreciate it.

THanks a lot, I appreciate the pictures. I was using mitten hooks and I have come to despise those things! Especially when your hands are cold and as you mentioned you're in a hurry!
