This past Friday night, I was spending one night out in the woods. Forecast low of 28F. I'm a fairly cool sleeper so I decided to take a lightweight baselayer. I usually just sleep in a synthetic T shirt and shorts. I used a Greylock 3 and a Sierra Sniveller. Both worked great. However, I think the Grizz Beak and the underquilt protector that "I reached back and packed at the last minute" allowed both of the quilts to do their job. We had wind gusts in the 25 to 30 mph range. I slept very warm thanks to my quilts AND the 2QZQ underquilt protector and Grizz Beak!
