It turns out Mike and I will be there, but we aren't arriving until after lunch on Saturday. I can't remember the breakfast situation for Sunday morning. Would it be useful to bring eggs to go with Roger's bacon, or do we not do Sunday breakfast?

I've never tried anything waterproof like that but it might actually work better. I use an overcover on my bridge which got damp but protected the quilts. I know some people were drying quilts on that foggy day a couple years ago.

Saving up eggs from my hens! They started laying like crazy in preparation. I see others are bringing some too. Ours can be back ups. Also will bring creamer, sugar, almond milk for all day coffee.

I will bring a 5 gallon water container, My lantern is dead. I can bring a table (small). A Coleman propane stove. I am brining my dutch oven does anyone have a charcoal chimney? I will also bring natural charcoal I just need the chimney

Here is a question: Would people prefer roasted root veggies (fennel, celeriac, sweet potato, potatoes, garlic) done in olive oil and rosemary (vegan, gluten free) or non gf dairy laden potatoes au gratin for Saturday night? I want a vote on this!

I was also going to make beef stew ( I might have that for Friday night depending on how much meat we have Saturday night).

I vote for the roasted root veggies but also like option 2.

Either meal sounds good to me. As to a charcoal chimney I have at least one.

I did a site inspection today and we will be working from a different lean to this time. A tree fell on our normal one. Same area just a different lean to.

Also there still is plenty of icy snow left on the ground but surprise, surprise the roadway is icy. I am going to try and get it sanded to prevent sliding. At this moment if you have a. Two wheel drive it might be best to have it parked at the top of the hill near the entrance. I will post up later about the conditions. I or someone else can shuttle cargo/gear from the top of the hill to the campsite if needed.
