    Allegheny National Forrest

    Hey folks,

I would like to see if anyone will be interested in checking out some hiking trails in Allegheny National Forrest this Month, Areas of interest for me are Tionesta hiking trail, twin lakes trail or other parts along the North country scenic trail. I have been to johnny cakes , rim rock and Morrison too much recently..

No dates yet but i have tons of availability this month can do weekdays or weekends.

Everyone loves the Minister Creek trail, its a must see, I'd also recommend Hearts Content. They're all good though.

Just be aware various hunting seasons are open in PA right now and starting Monday after Thanksgiving our major deer season starts. Wear blaze orange and stick to the trails and you'll never have a problem.

I'm over in Buffalo, but I would be willing to meet up if our schedules could mesh. I've done the Tracy Ridge loop several times, Morrison, Minister Creek, and did an overnight at the Hickory Creek Wilderness last month.

Nice! I am closing on a new house on Monday. So Mon-Wed I will be moving all my belongings. But after that I should be good.

I was thinking of doing an overnight at Hunter Creek sometime to see how I feel about winter backing. That way if I don't like it, it wouldn't be too far back to my car. Let me know if this interests you.

Unfortunately won't be able to join due to work travel and responsibilities with Cub Scouts, but I just hiked Minister Creek last month and highly recommend the trip. Did the Middle Loop to North loop as a [half] day hike, just under 8 miles (its a little longer if you include the South Loop in your trip), not too difficult. Didn't stay overnight on the trail but the campground at the trailhead looked nice and there is a camping area at the North end of the loop was really tempting.

Interested as well, may be able to find time for a 2-day/2-nighter depending on the dates.
It is a very alert, active sheep, with a stylish, lively carriage.

I use a Juki & Pfaffs w/ assorted attachments, and have serviced lots of vintage machines. Any questions?
