Aquaphor is the best!! My fingertips split and it's very painful, pretty much year round. It doesn't cure it 100%, but closer than anything else I've tried. I bought 5 "sample" tubes on ebay for $1. I refill them with a big one at home.

Thanks! I guess it’s just from getting older, but man my hands seem to be getting dry and crack a lot more recently.

Thanks, Shug. I tend to have the same problem when my nose starts running away.

Ignore what the description says it is for. This is the most nourishing and moisturizing ointment for dry, irritated and cracked skin, windburn, chapping, etc. It gets thick in cold weather so I keep it in my pocket. It is just pure lanolin but it does not have that rank smell.
I hadn’t thought of this, but I do know the product, my wife used it when our daughters were born and used excess for her hands as well.

Thank you! I added this to my camping list on Amazon. For my taste, Via is pretty good, so I look forward to trying this out. I'm thinking I have nowhere to go but up.

It works great and completely absorbs. I even use it for cuts and burns and I think it works better than Neosporin. There is something special about sheep to make such an amazing substance.
    I sew things on youtube.
I don’t sew on commission, so please don’t ask. Thanks.

Getting into 2018-2019 winter camping...excited as usual but lacking good snow. Forecast looks pretty dry too. Come on winter!!! The last 3+ years have been weak!

Here in Southern MD, we very rarely get snow, so I say bring some our way from the Great White North! It sounds like a load of fun, but I'd have to fly north to see any decent snow.

Same here. Aquaphor is one of the quickest items to heal. When you get some nasty ones you don't even want to put your hands in your pockets.

Winter has been inconstant so far this year in WNY. We get a little snow and then some warm weather and rain.
I want to do some snowshoeing and get the polk out.

Bring on the snow! I've got a number of outings planned for the next 3 months that require the pulk. Ready and waiting!
