Greetings from Phoenix!

Hey all!

I'm a long time lurker (couple years?) and finally decided to formally join the forum. I sure appreciate everything I've learned from the great folks here.

So what to tell you about me?
- mid-50's
- Love to camp
- Motorcycling & motorcycle camping is a major passion
- Found this forum via advrider.com and haven't slept on the ground since (somewhat tricky living/camping out West)


Current equipment
- Hammock: 11ft wide netless from Dutchware
- Top quilt: EE Revelation, 20 degree, 850fp
- Under quilt: Loco Libre 30 degree synthetic
- Tarp: Kelty 12'

One of my daughters loves hammock camping as well, so I'm planning to give her everything but my TQ. Planning on a new Dutchware Chameleon, EE or UGQ UQ and a Warbonnet Thunderfly tarp before too long.

Big thanks to Shug for all the time he spends on videos (Hammock and otherwise). My wife just shakes her head at his antics. Definitely my kind of guy (maybe cause I'm a left-handed ginger that sings silly songs as well?).

Welcome from far West Texas Matt. You’ve got a great setup, you need to come out and hang with the Az groups this spring in Tucson. There is a lot of active hangers in Arizona. A lot of motorcycle hangers as well. Glad you decided to join the forums.
