    So Down is analog

    Synthetic is digital

kind of surprised to see anyone post after Shug. He da man!!! lol.

Personally.......no way I'm using a 20 degree quilt in summer. I don't want that thing any where near me.

I don't do cold, once the weather drops below 40, I'm done. If that's your thing, then I say better to be too warm than too cold.

Thanks so much everyone. I have been procrastinating on the purchase because I am always looking for the "perfect solution for my limited budget. It would be easier if my entire family didn't enjoy backpacking and hammock camping. Solo camping would be much cheeper ;but I will certainly not complain that my kids and Wife like doing something other than sitting at home staring at screens. I thank you all for your help and will be purchasing the first of 4 underquilts for my family this week .

I would say get the 20 for sure. If you end up needing something for warmer weather then the costco down throw make a very cheap solution.

    ^^^^^This

Although after using my Costco Gemini, I think I would skip the 20* and go down to a 0*. The Gemini has served me very well down to 40 (so far) and a 0 could easily fill the gap from 40 down to 0.

    Just my take.
