Macomb Mountain in the Dix Wilderness in the Adirondacks.

Just some pics from last week I wanted to share.
    Had a great time.
Went in on The Elk Lake parking area trail.
Got my first boil from from a Firebox Nano Ive been sitting on for a while in a pristine imusa.

Also tested out my new Minifly.

Beautiful fall trip that ended to soon.

The area looks gorgeous. I always wish fall last little longer but it makes it all worth more when you get up and go.
    Thanks for sharing your photos.

This area is on my radar. It will be in totality during the 2024 eclipse. Ideally, I'd like to be on Katahdin, but I imagine Baxter will be controlling access and cause massive competition to get on the mountain then.

Nice photos. Thanks. I spent last week in the Moose River Plains/Cedar River Flow and the weather was beautiful there too. Having spent most of my adult life camping and living around the High Peaks area, I've been exploring the flatter, Central Adirondacks but look forward to getting back up north again.
