I need some help!!!! Hammocks w/ Unique Features

So here is my dilemma...I am a gear head.
I made it my goal a while back to try any hammock (cottage/DIY especially) that has unique features or fabrics. It also helps me give advice to people looking for certain things, and like many of you, I search for the "perfect hammock". I have 4 yards of a beautiful custom OutdoorINK print in HyperD 1.6 BUT I don't know what hammock to have made/make myself. I am looking for other hammocks out there that people really love that have unique features/ideas so I can get ANOTHER new hammock.

I have owned : Almost every cottage fabric out there, and most standard ripstops, tablecloth taffeta etc. Both DL and SL combinations. Different gathers, widths, lengths etc.

    DH Sparrow
    DIY Nettles Hammock
    V_Allen Bridge for Bigger People
    DH Raven (On Order)
    SLD Trail Lair
    WB RR
WB XLC (Both L and R)
    Various DIY Bridges
    Bonefire Whisper (10 and 10.5)
Various netted DIY with different zipper features etc.
    Cave Creek Custom netted hammock
Just Bill Luxury and Medium Bridge
    Amok Draumr 3.0
    Sheltowee Boone Zip
    Sheltowee Zip
    theclark5 Insulated Hammock
    theclark5 gathered end Bridge
Dutch Chameleon (Made body myself, but used the zippers and net)
    Hammeck Netty
    Grizz Bridge Ariel
    Dutchware Half-wit

I know I am forgetting some that I have slept in, but please chime in and let me know what else is out there I could try or make. One that comes to mind is an SLD Streamliner. However, the feedback on that one is super mixed (love/hate) and I know I am sensitive to heel pressure so that cat cut might not be for me. The other I want to try is a LSoH Warrior Edge, but the printed fabric isn't wide, so I can't get that one this time. Let me know what I should try!!!!!!!!!!! THANKS

I'd love to see someone stateside tackle the 90 degree style ala amok and, well, Luke's 90 degree.
Make it slightly longer while you're at it, to better accommodate taller people.

I liked the Amok alright, but I think making it myself would be really difficult. My least favorite part (besides the weight) was the reliance on something inflatable.

So you don't want to buy a hammock with a unique design but rather make it yourself? Have you ever tried the Hennessy fold? I don't care much for the way Hennessy connects the netting to the hammock body or their tie-outs, but I really like the fold. I have used it on a couple of my own DIY no-net hammocks and want to make one with a better integrated net one day.

If you're looking to buy another unusual hammock, try the Hammock Bliss Sky Bed. It needs an inflatable pad, though, and it's a lefty lay.

Other than that, the 90° hammock would be a good project - if your fabric is sufficiently robust. It's not very difficult to make, although the way the ropes are connected to the hammock body are failure prone. If you understand a little bit of German, I can post links to several DIY projects on the German hammock forums.

Also - in contrast to the Draumr, the 90° hammock doesn't need an inflatable pad. You can get away with foam. I had the opportunity to test an original 90° hammock in summer, and I liked it so much that I ordered one for home-use. I will get some mattress foam for providing the warmth but getting around issues with sweatiness. Hopefully very soft foam will be closer to an underquilt instead of an inflatable pad, too. I'm pretty sure it would be possible to work out a lighter, more packable version if you wanted to take it hiking.

I might try out the Hennessy fold. And I would buy a hammock too, I would actually prefer that. However, some unique designs aren't made by anyone, so I'd have to make it myself. Thanks for the feedback!

A single line suspension hammock. It does need a tree with a stout overhead branch. But the rotation and sway are mesmerizing. Crazy dreams. You also need WIDE fabric.

As Intimidator, I'm always on the lookout for unusual hammocks. So what makes the Green Hornet special? I have seen this manufacturer mentioned a couple of times over the years, but on paper the hammocks look like just another DD hammock: short and heavy. Have I missed something in the description?
