    Hello from So Cal

    Hello, I'm new to hammocks but have been backpacking for years. I recently relocated back to So Cal from AZ for work and when I was in AZ I became interested in hammocks but unfortunately the backcountry places that i packed to in AZ didn't afford as many opportunities as CA does to hang a hammock.

    Therefore, after a few email exchanges with Brandon at WB, I pulled the trigger for some hammock gear that includes a WBRR, UGQ Ambush 20 Degree and a HG Quest Tarp with 12' RL ( I realize hat the tarp is small for the RR but i'm planning to get the WB Spindrift in the very near future).

    Welcome from far west Texas.. There is a great active hammocking group in AZ, if you make it back for any reason consider attending one of their hangs. You’ve choose some great gear, you will be very happy with it. Welcome to the trees!

    Greetings from North Cal, but for the life of me I can't figure out why you'd move back to California lol. No but seriously welcome.
    By all means, let's argue about whether or not a hammock will hurt a tree. All the while ignoring the fact that there is an island of garbage the size of Texas floating in the Pacific ocean. Or how about the fact that over 75% of the world's nuclear reactors are leaking...
