I’ve really been enjoying my Econ Phoenix 40 the last couple of weeks here in Michigan
Lowest I took it to was 43 with a lame Walmart 40 degree sleeping bag unzipped as a top quilt

What’s the loft on the 40? They give a range on quilts (0.75-3) so I presume the 0.75 is the 40 deg.

A 40º is usually about 1.5 inches.
