My plan is to get a Rip Stop by the Roll DIY Kit. The Hex UL is $73, and since I have no DIY skills (or a sewing machine; or the desire to buy one) I called around and found a tailor who will complete the kit for $20. So < 100 for a 12 oz-ish hex tarp. Not too bad
You could have yelled down south a ways at Colorado Outdoor Gear Supply and had Chad make you one!! Oh well. That tailor will have fun I'm sure.

I haven't bought it yet. Never heard of that company. I will check them out. Thanks

coloradooutdoorgearsupply.com is the website. I had him do all three of our tarps as well as two and a half dozen folding buck saw cases for me!
Flying porch mode! My wife and daughter's are winter tarps for privacy and all were our choice of color.
Took two prototypes but he nailed it!

I have a Hennessy Hex Fly that is as good as it gets for the money (when you can catch them on sale for $50-60) - but it is heavy. If you want a lighter weight option, I'd recommend keeping an eye on Warbonnet for a sale. They make the very best "bag for the buck" sil tarps that I have found to date.
I needed another tarp for my son for scout campouts.
I am going to give this a try:

It should be in hand by Monday.
I am sure that it is heavier than others, but they mostly car camp - and the price was hard to beat.
I have a 12’ winter tarp inbound from underground quilts, $99. I’m a frugal shopper, but at this price point the transaction was nearly painless.
