What length ridgeline do you recommend for the Tensa poles? I'm thinking about making an ajustable Zing-it line for holding the top together (using 8' poles and 10' & 11' hammocks). From earlier comments it sounds like about 11' at the top and ~5' at the base strap might work...?

Easiest way is to suspend the hammock ends close to the apexes, use the ridgeline (I use 83% of hammock length) to keep the hang angle right, and adjust the base spread for your desired sit height. There are no right or wrong answers with this type of stand. Lots of ways to get to the same result.
