The google earth pic was during a boy scout trip I think and that must have been their trailer. The hike in is just 5 minutes or so, and the trail is flagged. The trail starts off the south end of the building. When you see the clearing just keep on going a couple minutes. You wont miss it.

I realize this is sacrilegious in multiple ways, but does anyone have an idea of sprint signal strength? Vikings might be playing their first playoff game.

Edit: Sunday at 3:30. Can't get better than that.

So a couple of updates....First. I may be heading up a day early (Thursday). There is a local company that has offered to donate an enormous amount of firewood for us early Friday morning (8 foot logs of oak, pine, what ever we want). If anyone wishes to stop by Thursday to help me get things set up at the site or early Friday to help get wood stacked, please let me know.

Second, I have an interview this afternoon with Dan Small of Outdoor WI and may be sending someone up to join us for a day. I also have a contact at the Milwaukee journal who interviewed me last winter. She'll be in Waupaca for the weekend and said she might stop by for a bit as well. How Fun!

I will be headed over right after I drop my daughter at school on Friday morning. I think that I should be pulling in between 830 and 9 AM if all goes well. I can help when I arrive.

I'll come up Thursday night after work, so I can help with the wood and whatever else is needed on Friday morning.
