    Finishing the Appalachian Trail

    The 100 Mile Wilderness and the final climb up Big K!

    Awesome, top of the bucket list for me.

    Surely, though, you didn't string up your hammock with rope/cord the whole time?

    No no, I used Dutch's cinch bugs and straps. The cord was a jerry rig done when I forgot a strap at a campsite the day before. I only had 2 days left and there was no where to mail a replacement anyway so I had to make due. Even slept on the ground the first night.

    Dutch was great and replaced it for me at minimal cost after I got home.

    Congrats on completing your trail trip. I plan on checking out your blog, I have read about 10 through trail books and have really enjoyed them.
