This Hang for me was a tough one. With so much going on personally it was hard to pull away from that to attend something else. I am glad I did. It really helped me to relax and let go for a little bit. I had a great time hanging around the campfire laughing with good friends. While the weather wasn't perfect the atmosphere was. As always the food was fantastic. Please share your experiences. I would also appreciate feedback whether public or private to help make this even better next time.

good time seeing everyone! great food and people as always. as far as our expedition to find the tallest tree in new england, after talking to the ranger, the tree has no rock garden(bad info?) or a plaque(more bad info). we were at the 'tree of peace' sign and ranger said it was one of the trees within 50 feet of it so we must have attained our goal. it is always nice to have confirmation though.
I left my phone in my hammock most of the weekend. But I did snag one picture.

That is some really bad info! I think we may have found the tree it was gigantic . It had tag number 105 so we’ll have to find that database online and see what tree number it was. All tagged trees were over 150’ so it wasn’t a loss, nice adventure ;-)

Great to see everyone, new and old.
First time at Mohawk, I liked it. Really nice spot.
Thanks to all for sharing food, stories and knowledge.
Until the next one...

So, keeping up my recent tradition of leaving something behind (not a thermos or cutting board this time), and further confirming the onset of senility...
... did anyone happen to see or grab my tarp hanging up behind the porta potties?
I packed up, but left it hanging out to dry a bit while I said goodbyes. Of course I drove off without it.
Now, as I lay here at home thinking about setting it out in the yard tomorrow to dry further, BAM, I remembered where it is.
If you found it, please PM me.
No worries if it is gone, someone will have an awesome tarp to enjoy the great outdoors with. Chalk it up to paying it forward.
Update:
Tarp has been located. Cheers.
