Dutchware Reflect It or Dynaglide SRL?

Has anyone used reflect it or dynaglide as a srl? I curretly use yellow 2.2 zing-it but would love to have the option of differant colors. I would assume the strength is fine for srl, just curious if anyone has had any experience using them as such.

Reflect-it is essentially 1.75mm zing-it with a reflective thread. I have no experience with dynaglide.

If you plan to use the rl as an actual stressed member rather than just as a setup guide and something to hang stuff from, you may want to stick with the heavier cord. I prefer to keep mine just barely taut. When faced with less than optimum conditions, since I'm on the lighter side I think I get away with stressing zing-it more so than larger/heavier folks. On more than one occasion I've wound up with it guitar string tight and have had no failures...yet.

I am using zingit. For as much as I like reflective cordage, Not sure if I would want that reflective cord over my head at night.

I love working with dynaglide, but I consider it overkill for an srl.

I kinda did the opposite... I made my SRL UCR out of Amsteel 7/64 because I have lots and I didn't want to use up my Reflect It!

Dutchware Reflect It or Dynaglide SRL?

I've had issues of the reflective tracer in the Reflectit shredding after being used with some Dutch hardware (wasps mainly). It still works, but the area that gets the most use is no longer that reflective. Reflect it works better for guy outs where you are less likely to use that type of hardware.

So i just whipped up a adjustable SRL out of orange dynaglide and a couple cont. Loops with orange 7/64 for my new 11' netless in hexon 1.6 dark olive. Looks great (thanks Dutch). Also whipped up some guy lines with tarp worms out of orange reflect-it. I see how dynaglide could be overkill for a srl but with the weight roughly the same as zing-it, i like the way the orange looks way better than the yellow... Thanks everyone for the input. This was my first try at adj srl and cont. Loops btw. Both way easier to work with then zingit.

I love working with Dynaglide and though some folks don't like the colors, I love them. Sadly, the Dynaglide's color fades pretty quickly. Maybe less so when used for a light duty use like an ARL. I use Dynaglide for suspension and the constant handling makes it fade quickly.

That's what I was thinking. I'm unlikely to walk into my ridgeline at night without hitting something else first. And while laying in the hammock, it's easy enough to discern the ridgeline with or without it reflecting light.
