DIY Tarp Beak, NEW Yukon Outfitters No-Fly Zone Zippered Bug Net (2 Available)

Three items offered for your hammock pleasure, with respective condition specified below, all ready for the backyard or the backcountry. All prices include USPS shipping. ConUS/PayPal only, please.

    1) DIY Sil-Poly PU4000 Tarp Beak (Grizz-Style) -- $30 -- SPF

A while back I purchased a couple yards of the rather expensive Olive Drab RBTR 1.1 oz sil-poly PU4000 and made my own DIY version of the venerable GrizzlyAdams SOB tarp beak, a lightweight wind- and rain-blocking end cap for hex tarps (similar to the sil-nylon ones from 2QZQ). At just 98 grams (less than 3.5 ounces!) and about the size of your first, it is ultralightweight, no-bulk insurance in your pack or pocket against foul weather when the forecast is uncertain. Sil-Poly PU4000 has an amazing hydrostatic head and excellent durability despite its light weight, and, unlike sil-nylon, it won't soak up moisture or wet out! Pack a smaller, lighter hex tarp, but be ready for anything with this beak as your ace in the hole! Easily adjusts for a crisp fit over the end of virtually any tarp up to 10 feet wide. This beak has been used 4 times (including the original test set-up for these photos), and it works great. It is in excellent to like-new condition with no dirt, stains, or odors. A near-weightless light-duty micro-biner included with this beak for ridge line attachment; no other lines/hardware or stuff sack included. (Use the stakes you already have.) Save your bacon and get a warm, dry night's sleep the next time the weather turns rough with this tarp beak, yours for $30 delivered.

    2) Yukon Outfitters No-Fly Zone Zippered Bug Net (#1 of 2) -- $33

Offered for sale is a handy and well-made Yukon Outfitters No-Fly Zone Zippered Bug Net, approximately 118" long at the ridge line with a 48" drop when laid flat. It is a lightweight (approx. 11 oz) add-on NoSeeUm polyester mesh bug net with a central vertical zipper on one side, that quickly converts your netless hammock to a sleep system with full 360-degree insect protection and easy entry/exit. This one is BRAND NEW WITH TAGS, still in original plastic. Smooth-running zipper, will fit most hammocks up to 11 feet in length (110" ridge line). Works with any hammock's structural ridge line, or can use its own external loops to hang over hammocks without using its own independent ridge line (not included). Adjustable toggle clasps at each end provides a tight seal around your hammock to keep pests sealed out. Packs and stores in its own compact integrated nylon stuff sack. (These nets work really well, but we've recently reduced the number of netless hammocks in the family, so we have one of these nets to spare.) MSRP on the No-Fly Zone is $49.99 plus shipping from Yukon Outfitters -- and they are no longer available on Amazon -- but this one is yours for $33 delivered in the ConUS! (That's 1/3 OFF with FREE Shipping!)

    3) Yukon Outfitters No-Fly Zone Zippered Bug Net (#2 of 2) -- $33

Identical to item #2 above, another brand new Yukon Outfitters No-Fly Zone Zippered Bug Net, listed here separately in accordance with forum rules so that it can be sold separately. Yours for $33 delivered.

Please post an "I'll take it" and specify the item(s) you want, and then follow up with a PM to me, and I will try to respond promptly to complete our transaction.

    Thanks for looking...
