    One year, every night.

I don’t have a date carved in stone or anything, but I’m fairly sure I’ve been one solid year of full time hammock sleeping. There’s been quite a few nights out, plus nights spent in the turtledog in my tent. My indoor hammock is hung from the walls in our bedroom, 11 1/2’ long Robic XL hybrid.

I’ve made all my hammocks, thanks to the folks here for sharing their experiences. I’ve tried the different materials, and lengths, and end wrappings and channels, and bridges..... and I’ve come to realize that I can sleep comfortably in all of them, much more so than a bed.

I’ve been pretty much pain free in my back, but especially my hips, which were really bothering me before I switched. I’m glad I found this forum, and that I’ve found a great way for me to get comfortable, restful, sleep.

    Thank you all.

Congrats on getting that pain under control. Hammocks are very good to some of us

Great to hear you had so much benefit from sleeping on the hammock. Enjoy
