Snaps on doors?

Anybody use snaps on their tarp doors? If so...what kind? Pics?

My WD from UGQ came with snaps on the doors. I will see if i can find a pic of them up close

I bought a used SLD 12x14 winter haven that came with full length velcro on the doors. The doors on this tarp were cut to meet in the center, not overlap. DON'T EVER GET VELCRO ON THE DOORS!! Just imagaine yourself trying to reclose 4 or 5 feet of velcro after your 3am break. Not to mention trying to pull a mesh snakeskin over it. No matter how careful, it inevitably snags somewhere along the line.

I eventually ripped the stitching and ditched the velcro (well, most of it). I now use kam snaps in its place. A million times better. As I recall I set them 4" on center. I'm might have some photos somewhere...

Kam snaps? Ive never heard of them. I googled them and that looks like what I want. Do the plastic snaps stay snapped in high winds? Do you reinforce the fabric in anyway?

Junebug made a tarp and used Kam snaps. You could ask her for some pics and personal experience.

I used velcro on the doors for my Winter tarp. Reckon I just got used to using them and they have come in handy and alway hold when i need them too.

KAM snaps! I’ve not used them on a tarp but have on just about everything else. They would be great for tarp doors.

Plastic, light weight, hold tight, very easy to use, wide range of colors.
