They certainly are not! Your footage from past trips + the LG forum trip reports have surely convinced us of that. We've shifted our trip plan into something much more flexible; and while going from East rim to West via Spence & Conley is what we would like to do, we're leaving our daily miles short so that we don't have to cover those miles if we're tired or don't think that we can safely (in the case of the crossing). It's entirely likely that we'll lollygag on the one rim for part one of the trip, then pick up and move to the other, or try for a run to both via Spence if, and only if we're handling the miles well and the group wants to.
