    Check out this from Dutch's site.He says it is sewed in such a way that sealing is not required.I would not know about other Xenon tarps.It's always been my thot that silicone would stick to just about anything and waterproof it.No?

    The Xenon hex tarp doesn't need sealed but that is construction and not material related. Xenon is coated on both sides of with mostly silicone. Actually it is dipped. I was conservative on the waterproof rating. I should probably update that.

    Care if I ask if you have any details/instructions on the construction method that you feel comfortable sharing? I'll likely be making another tarp in the next couple months, and I'm interested in learning other methods.

    And the followup question is if there is a place that describes the differences between the different xenon fabrics? Until this thread, I had no idea that the xenon wide had a pu coating on one side.
