    Hammock stand Recommendation?

I recently bought a house and have no real trees for hooking on to, i have been tossing around the idea of getting a stand, and was hoping for some input from the group! i researched so much i got myself confused...

    Requirements:
weight limit 350+ pounds (more preferable),
ability to use with a 11 or 12 foot gathered end DIY hammock with appropriate hang angle
around $100ish total, Definitely under $175.
would prefer it to be able to break down for winter storage...or in house use lol

i saw the old byer maine vario but it appears its no longer made and is replaced with only https://www.rei.com/product/867559/b...MaAmqCEALw_wcB I worry about the total height of this ones poles...as if i did my calculation write it is not long enough for proper hang.

I saw some other cheap ones on Ebay...not sure about those...

I know eno has a new $$$$ one....

and the pre-made Turtleladys are expensive...

    Anyone got some ideas!?

    Thank ahead of time!

The Vivere 15ft for outdoors. Eyebolts in the studs for indoors.

I you know the details of your home's construction, eyebolts in the ceiling is the cheapest and easiest way to go.

Barring that, I'd recommend a make your own pipe stand. It's inexpensive, portable, and can be painted. You may need something larger than 1" pipe to get the weight limits you're looking for. Details are on The Ultimate Hang.

The perfect stand has yet to be built.

The pipe stand comes about as close as any, unless you can weld.

This is a hammock stand that I bought off of Amazon.com. Easy to put together and take apart. Works really well with a bridge hammock.

thanks for the ideas! i wont think the eye bolt would work due to the order and type of construction i have, neither on my porch or in the house.

I saw the pipe stand one, was not sure about the quality (shakiness) of it or the lateral strength.

I also tried to find a maker of the wooden stand "brackets" but appears they are no longer sold.

Welding is an option, there is a shop in my family, i just dont have any good designs to tell them to make.

The bridges have a stretcher bar, wont how the hang would change with just a standard "camping hammock"

Try contacting PapaSmurf at Dreamhammock.com. He has a pretty nice stand that he had made and might be willing to pass along the design.
