I have purchased a ZPacks Rain Kilt and love it for Rain and as a Ground cover under the hammock. However, I am trying to get one more purpose out of it. My plan is to use it as an under quilt protector to keep splash off and possibly help hold in heat by stopping wind from hitting my Warbonnet 3/4 Yeti. Not much of a DIYer, so is attaching the Kilt (by its sewn in loops) directly to the shock cord of the quilt good enough? Or should I make small shock cord loops to larks head to the quilt suspension? Would Zing-it Loops work better? Or should I just run shock cord from the Kilt to the Dutch Quilt Hanger just like the Under Quilt? (I have cordage to take my top quilt to the ground or to stack it with my Yeti, so the cordage isn't an issue. Just looking for the quickest and easiest, which is why I am leaning towards the first method.
Thanks for any help or guidance.
