    New Vertex wide (VX Ultra)

Clark issued a new Vertex. It is apparently 7 inches longer and has larger beds with a smaller middle area (resulting in about the same width of the whole combo) was I told.
It says "Pre order", so I suppose one cannot get it yet.

    Anyone ordered this ?

Adding 7" to an 8.5ft hammock seems a day late and a dollar short to me.

I wrote to them last year to enquire if the 102.5" length was with the sag (ridgeline) or with the fabric stretched out. It was confirmed to be stretched out. One night I took an 11footer and whipped it down to 102.5" and spent the night in it. Never again, and I'm only 5'4". They'd have to do a whole lot better than 7" to catch my attention. And yes I have been in one of these for a brief test ride.

Not quite sure why someone that is only 5'4" would be having an issue in a Clark. I'm 6" and have plenty of room left above my head and below my feet when I stretch out in my 270.

A lot of physical ailments from head to toe, mostly from old injuries. Can't stand anything less than 11'.
