2017 Lobsters and Lighthouses Hang- Sept. 9/10/11 ~TRIP REPORT

I only took a couple of photos, so I will leave the rest of you guys to fill in the blanks.

Thanks to everyone for making it a great event once again. It was my first group hang in 2015 and one of my favorites.
I suspect I speak for everyone when I say how sad it was that so many of the core New Englander crew could not be there for various reasons. You were ALL missed badly.
Tremendous thanks to our vendors who gave so much incredible merchandise for the raffle.

Among all the stuff for the raffle we had a sweet Ghost Pepper 30° thanks to George at LocoLibre... it is in the OutdoorInk [RSBtR] "Forest Floor" camo by hk2001.
On the right is just the end of a Dream Hammock Sparrow [w/ cover and bugnet] in the L&L logo print [also hk2001/OI/RSBtR] courtesy of the Smurfs. THANX again!

Just after dawn on Sunday... all by myself since I am older than dirt and cain't sleep much past 5:30am.... a little quiet jazz on the iPod, pipe in hand, black coffee in a cup, feet up to a fire.
"It's a hard job, but somebody has to do it." as my wife Carlie always said.

It was our first group hang,It definitely won't be our last.We had a great time and will certainly be back next year. Thanks to everyone for the hospitality. It was great to meet you all. Thanks to everyone who donated to the raffle and to everyone who helped to make this meetup happen.

I wish I took a picture of my lobster it was so good!!!
I'm craving another one right now!
Gretchen and I had a great time she took advantage of the pool both days it was a tad cold for my likings. The new Birdsnest net in combination with a spreader bar worked out perfectly. Nice to see everyone and hang out at the Lobster Lighthouse Hang again. Sorry that friends could not make it due to outside forces.

Wow, I am so bummed that I had to miss this hang. I so look forward to getting to Phippsburg Maine each year. Unfortunately this year hurricane Irma interfered with my ability to be there.

Thanks to Ted for starting this thread. Thanks to HeyDuff for posting all of the great pictures. Thanks to my Camping neice Gretchen for setting up her psychiatric stand and thanks to everyone else who came to the hang. I hope to see all of you next year.

Great pictures folks! These group hangs started out simple, years ago. Each hang seems to add something new. Talk about taking it to the next level.... Psychiatric Help!!! Ha-ha, I love it!

YES. I made up about a gallon+ of fresh-corn chowdah. ...gone in 60 seconds!
Seriously, I couldn't heat it fast enough to keep up with demand. White styrofoam cups were always hovering out in my peripheral vision.
