    Hammock for bed replacement

    Hello all,
I am looking for a bit of help in learning about proper hammocks.
Bottom line, I am looking for a hammock to replace my bed.

I fully realize there are old forums on this however the old links no longer work.

I do see that normally full size Brazilian hammocks are recommended that is over 12' in length.
I am 6' tall so I am looking for something a bit larger if possible atleast 13' since they are usually more comfortable however the question becomes, where are good places for hammocks and how to identify, a good one vs a bad one, I am missing something?

Typed this on my phone so sorry if it makes no sense.

This bed also also needs to be large enough to fit another when she wants.

First of all there simply are no good two person hammocks. If this will be a replacement for a bed I would recommend checking out the Warbonnet Ridgerunner as these are a simple hammock to setup and leave up and you do not have to fight to stay on an angle to keep a flat lay. There are also many vendors that sell the gathered end hammocks that others find very comfortable. Check out SimplyLightDesigns, Dutchwaregear, Warbonnet Outdoors, etc as some of the popular hammock vendors.

To further illustrate my point, none of the following links will show type of cloth, weave nor thread count or weight.

The warbonnet blackbird is also an excellent hammock however I was leaning more twords a cloth hammock like a Brazilian. I will check out those stores but I am looking for more feedback prior to making a decision.

Back in the day, I slept for several months in a Mayan hammock I brought back from Mexico. Insanely comfortable. I used to wrap up in a sheet and blanket and was good to go. If I were going to sleep in a hammock every night, I'd do it in a hammock like that one. Of course, it's an impossible choice for serious camping. . . .

Here's one that looks similar to my Mayan: https://www.amazon.com/Mayan-Hammock.../dp/B0012GZ9YS
