The 15th could work. On the SHT the following weekend

As of now, I could make it on the weekend of the 15th, but it would be for Saturday night only. Would have to leave bright and early Sunday morning.

I'm still in for the weekend of the 15th - both nights. I'll likely bring extra food to share for dinner. By food, I mean meat, cuz that seems to be how we do it on the canal. Not sure yet, but I may also be able to get out the next weekend too.

You can park overnight at Channahon State Park. Then it's a 3 mile hike or bike to the McKinley Woods campsite.
